Art Deco Style Leaded Glass and Cast Metal Figural Table Lamp
Description
An Art Deco style table lamp featuring a dark-patinated cast metal figurine of a semi-nude female dancer in a dynamic, expressive pose. The figure is set against a fan-shaped leaded glass screen composed of a central pale pink opalescent panel, flanked by sections of confetti glass containing pink, green, and clear shards. The outer curved panels are made of iridescent marbled glass in shades of deep blue, purple, and green. The assembly is mounted onto a heavy circular black marble or polished stone base, decorated with three concentric brass-toned metal rings. The lamp is fitted with a modern gold-coloured electrical cord and a red UK 3-pin fused plug. There are no visible maker’s marks or signatures; a small adhesive label on the base is marked 501.
