A Chippendale Revival mahogany and burr walnut revolving bookcase table
Description
A mid-20th century revolving clover-leaf bookcase table in the Chippendale Revival style. The top features a four-way book-matched burr walnut veneer with a raised moulded edge following a scalloped profile. The revolving central body is divided into open vertical storage compartments for books. The whole is raised on a central turned pedestal base with three carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. A small white adhesive inventory sticker with handwritten numerals 9731 is located on the top surface.
