A Pair of Postmodern Style Two-Tone Veneer Circular Side Tables
Description
A pair of circular side tables in the postmodern style, featuring a distinctive two-tone veneered construction. Each circular top is designed with a broad central stripe of light-toned wood veneer, flanked by two sections of a darker reddish-brown wood veneer. The tables are supported by semi-cylindrical, C-shaped bases finished in a matching light-toned wood veneer. The bases are designed with an open front, revealing an integrated internal storage shelf. The design and striped top pattern are characteristic of late 20th-century postmodern furniture and bear a strong resemblance to the Field side table by Sundays. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the pieces.
