An Assortment of Vintage and Antique Costume and Fashion Jewellery
Description
An assortment of vintage and antique costume jewellery including various rings, necklaces, brooches, and pendants. The lot features a large oval brooch with a bezel-set reddish-brown cabochon, possibly carnelian, and a second large brooch set with a banded agate cabochon in a scalloped yellow metal frame. Included are several rings set with red, clear, and blue stones in both prong and bezel settings. The collection contains multiple chains, notably a heavy yellow metal fancy-link chain with an oval tag and a long figaro-style chain. Other items include a heart-shaped pendant, a yellow metal locket, a portrait miniature in a yellow metal filigree frame, and a small enamel pin representing the Danish flag. Also present is a silver-toned object shaped like a bird’s head and a large silver-toned bangle with cast decoration and a clear stone inset. Materials appear to be a mix of yellow and white base metals, some with gold-toned plating. Marks are visible on the interior of ring bands and on a chain tag but are not legible for transcription. Stones appear to be a mixture of agate, glass, and paste.
