A group of Royal Air Force (RAF) related militaria comprising campaign medals, commemorative pins, and a station souvenir. The collection includes a 1939-1945 Defence Medal struck in cupro-nickel, featuring the left-facing effigy of King George VI with the inscription GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:. It is suspended from its original flame and green-striped ribbon, which has a small silver-tone eagle pin attached. Also included is a 1939-1945 War Medal in cupro-nickel, bearing the effigy of King George VI and the inscription GEORGIVS VI D G BR OMN REX ET INDIAE IMP:, suspended from its original red, white, and blue striped ribbon. Accompanying the medals are several small pins, including a gold-tone model of a Spitfire aircraft, an enamelled Greek national flag pin, and a circular multi-coloured enamelled pin. The lot is completed by a rectangular pocket lighter with a dark grey finish and silver-tone trim. The face of the lighter features a raised, enamelled crest for Royal Air Force Station El Adem (Libya), displaying the station motto Vincit qui patitur. The lighter is housed in its original red presentation box with tissue paper.
