A Group of Painted Plastic British Highland Infantry Toy Soldiers
Description
A group of vintage painted plastic toy soldiers depicting British Army Highland infantry from the Second World War. The collection includes figures in various poses, including a bagpiper in a kilt and an NCO with corporal rank chevrons on his sleeve. The soldiers are depicted in mid-20th-century khaki battledress, with several wearing kilts in a green and black tartan pattern reminiscent of the Black Watch. They are equipped with Brodie-style steel helmets and Lee-Enfield rifles. Each figure is mounted on an integral circular brown plastic base.
