A Collection of Hand-Painted British Napoleonic Infantry Toy Soldiers
Description
A collection of hand-painted lead or white metal toy soldiers depicting British infantry figures from the Napoleonic era. The group includes figures in various service poses, including marching and firing, as well as a prone infantryman. Specialist figures comprise a mounted officer on a brown horse, a drummer, and a standard bearer carrying a Union Jack. The figures are decorated in traditional British red tunics and are set upon integral green bases. Two small paper inventory tags are present on the bases, one marked with Lot 263 and another with £23.
