Description
An assortment of hand-painted miniature military figures cast from lead alloy. The collection represents various European military units from the mid-18th century, likely the Seven Years War period. Infantry figures include representations of the French Ancien Régime in white coats with red facings and black bicorne hats, and British Grenadiers in red coats with blue facings and traditional mitre caps. Specialist figures include a drummer in a yellow coat with a bearskin cap and a mounted musician on a grey horse wearing a red coat with yellow facings. Each figure is mounted on an integral base, finished in either green or black paint. A white inventory label with the handwritten number 9703 is present on the display shelf.
