A Collection of King & Country World War II British and Commonwealth Military Miniatures
Description
A collection of hand-painted metal military miniatures by King & Country, depicting various branches and units of the British and Commonwealth forces during the Second World War, specifically themed around the Northwest Europe campaign circa 1944. The collection includes figures representing a Paratrooper in a Denison smock and green beret armed with a Sten submachine gun, a Highland Piper in a kilt and tam o’ shanter with full bagpipes, and an Indian Army soldier in khaki drill uniform and turban. The remaining figures depict British infantrymen in standard battledress with P37 webbing and Mk II helmets, some featuring netting and scrim. Armament across the group includes Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifles and a Bren light machine gun. One figure is detailed as an NCO with visible sergeant stripes and divisional flashes on the sleeves. Each figure is mounted on a textured base painted to represent muddy or rocky terrain. A white adhesive tag with the handwritten number 9703 is attached to one rifle.
