A Trio of Hand Painted World War II Military Models Including a Crossley Truck Plastic
Description
This lot consists of a trio of hand-built and painted plastic military models. The central piece is a model of a World War II British Crossley truck, identifiable by the embossed lettering on the radiator grille. The vehicle is finished in a weathered sand-coloured camouflage scheme and is populated with several painted soldier figures in various positions. The truck is fitted with a green canopy which bears a handwritten adhesive label marked D703. The group is completed by two separate diorama figure bases. The first base features three soldiers in active combat poses on a textured reddish-brown ground. The second, smaller base features a single soldier kneeling behind a large barrel on a grey-textured ground. These are static display pieces constructed from plastic model kits.
