Denix Replica 18th Century British Naval Cannon Model
Description
A miniature model by Denix, replicating an 18th-century British naval deck gun. The piece comprises a cast metal barrel with a matt blackened finish, featuring a flared muzzle, raised astragals and fillets, and a rounded cascable. The barrel is set on its trunnions into a stepped wooden carriage of truck design, stained in a reddish-brown tone. The carriage is fitted with two wooden rear trucks secured with metal pins. Additional detailing includes miniature rope rigging, with a breeching rope looped around the button and secured through metal rings, alongside a small decorative metal chain. A paper inventory label numbered 9703 is attached to the side of the carriage.
