Description
A collection of circular handheld dexterity puzzles featuring various illustrated backgrounds. The puzzles are constructed with metal frames, likely tinplate, and clear protective covers made of glass or celluloid. The illustrated backgrounds are printed on cardboard or paper. The themes include a scene of figures in a boat with crocodiles, marked Japan at the base; a depiction of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, marked with the German patent abbreviation Gesetz. Gesch.; a squirrel on a tree branch; two variations of a bear and rabbit circus performance; a cat with a small moveable metal mouse; and a racial caricature of a person looking over a wall. Each puzzle contains small internal components designed to be manoeuvred into specific positions by tilting the device.
