Description
An oval portrait miniature brooch in the French style, featuring a hand-painted depiction of a young woman with light-coloured curly hair and a white garment, set against a pale blue background. The miniature is protected by glass and held within a narrow golden-coloured metal bezel, which is mounted into a wide frame of mottled brown and amber tortoiseshell. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the front. A paper lot tag numbered 6182 is attached.
