A Collection of UK Pre-decimal and Decimal Coinage Sets
Description
A collection of multiple United Kingdom coinage sets presented in various plastic display cases with coloured card inserts. The group includes several sets of 1967 pre-decimal coinage featuring denominations of the half crown, florin, sixpence, nickel-brass threepence, bronze penny, and halfpenny. One set is identified as Britain’s First Issue of Decimal Coins, dated 15 February 1971, containing a mix of pre-decimal and early decimal denominations including the 1/2p, 1p, 2p, 5p, and 10p. Also included is a commemorative set for The Royal Silver Wedding 1947-1977. The coins are composed of cupronickel, nickel-brass, and bronze.
