A Late 20th Century Pine Kitchen Dresser
Description
A two-part pine kitchen dresser, also known as a Dutch dresser or hutch, in a country style typical of the late 20th century. The upper section consists of an open plate rack with two fixed shelves and a scalloped top frieze, set against a tongue-and-groove planked backboard. The lower base section features a rectangular top over three frieze drawers and three panelled cupboard doors. The piece is constructed from solid pine with a natural finish and visible knots throughout. Each drawer and cupboard door is fitted with a simple turned wooden knob handle.
