Description
A TAG Heuer professional style diver’s wristwatch head. The watch features a stainless steel case with a matte sandblasted finish and a unidirectional rotating bezel with recessed markers. The black dial displays the TAG Heuer shield logo in green and red, luminous hour indices, Mercedes-style hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is printed with the word QUARTZ. The case back is engraved with a central TAG Heuer shield, the text CHRONOMETER, SINCE 1860, and the reference number 980.006. There is a notable discrepancy between the quartz movement indicated on the dial and the chronometer marking on the case back. This item is catalogued as a possible replica. No serial number is visible beyond the reference number. The watch is fitted with a quartz movement of unknown calibre. Lacking box and papers.
