Desmo Lucky Donkey and Horseshoe Automotive Mascot
Description
A mid-20th-century automotive mascot manufactured by Desmo of Birmingham, United Kingdom. The design features a donkey’s head set within a horseshoe frame. The mascot is constructed from chrome-plated die-cast metal and includes a mounting base with a central threaded hole for attachment to a radiator cap. The flat base is incised with the maker’s mark DESMO and the words MADE IN ENGLAND. A small brass securing screw remains in place at the rear of the horseshoe.
