A collection of various books and annuals comprising 19th-century, 20th-century, and contemporary publications. The lot includes Mrs. Beeton’s Book of Household Management published by Ward, Lock and Co. Ltd. in a cloth binding, and a large format edition of The Child’s Bible with decorative embossed brown boards and gilt lettering, bearing a lot sticker numbered 28/9. Art and photography titles include Ansel Adams: Landscapes of the American West by Lauris Morgan-Griffiths, Monet by Himself edited by Richard Kendall, and Venice by Francesco da Mosto. Historical works include The British Century by Brian Moynahan and Robert Opie’s 1930s and 1950s Scrapbooks. Children’s annuals include Twinkle for Little Girls 1985 and the 1990 Garfield Annual. Local interest paperbacks include West Yorkshire: A Pictorial Memorial and Thornton Through Time.
