A set of volumes comprising the works of Francis Parkman, issued as the Centenary Edition. The collection is bound in the publisher’s dark cloth with tan paper labels affixed to the spines. Titles present in this group include The Oregon Trail, The Conspiracy of Pontiac (Volumes I and II), La Salle and the Discovery of the Great West, A Half-Century of Conflict (Volumes I and II), The Jesuits in North America, The Old Regime in Canada, Count Frontenac and New France under Louis XIV, Montcalm and Wolfe (Volumes I and II), and Pioneers of France in the New World. The volumes are octavo in size. One volume bears a small white adhesive label with the number 6182.
