Description
A collection of volumes comprising children’s annuals, art history, and illustrated works. Identifiable titles from the spines include Queen Victoria’s Sketchbook, featuring a cream-coloured spine with black script and an illustrated vignette; The Wonder Book of Soldiers, bound in green cloth with a blind-stamped pictorial depiction of a mounted soldier; a Pip and Squeak Annual; Raphael by E. Micheletti; This Way Once by Annetta Victoria Wood; and An Edwardian Doll’s House published by Collins. One volume, a children’s annual, shows a fragment of the title reading S’ ANNUAL above a visible mesh backing where the outer spine has perished. The collection features a mix of binding types, including publisher’s cloth, hardcover pictorial boards, and softcovers. The volumes are in a mix of octavo and quarto formats. No dust jackets are present on the hardcover editions.
