Description
A collection of mid-to-late 20th-century British children’s annuals and storybooks. The lot includes My Postman Pat Storytime Book, Photoplay Film Year Book 1979, and The Lone Ranger Annual. Television-related publications feature the BBC TV Top of the Pops Annual 1979, published by World Distributors, and Blue Peter: Fourteenth Book. The group contains two Twinkle Annuals dated 1984 and 1986, and a Purnell edition of The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Also included are The Ultimate Teddy Bear Book by Pauline Cockrill, published by Books UK Ltd, Big Book of Brer Rabbit Stories, and Rabbit Again from the Storytime Library. The collection is supplemented by approximately five additional vintage volumes, including a cloth-bound book with a frayed brown spine and a volume marked with auction sticker 6182.
