Three pairs of Edwardian sterling silver sugar tongs
Description
A group of three sterling silver sugar tongs of varying sizes and decorative styles. The collection includes a pair with engine-turned wavy decoration and a chevron design at the bend, featuring spoon-shaped grips. This pair bears the maker mark B & S Ld for Barker Brothers Silver Ltd, alongside the lion passant, anchor, and date letter i for Birmingham, 1908. The second pair features bright-cut engraved borders and oval spoon grips, hallmarked with the lion passant, anchor, and date letter d for Birmingham, 1903. The third and largest pair is of plain polished form with oval spoon grips, hallmarked with the lion passant, anchor, and date letter o for Birmingham, 1913.
