A Large Assortment of Vintage and Contemporary Costume Jewellery
Description
A substantial collection of costume jewellery comprising various necklaces, bracelets, bangles, brooches, rings, and earrings. The lot includes items dating from the mid-to-late 20th century through to contemporary fashion styles. Construction materials include gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, simulated pearls, and glass and plastic beads in a broad colour palette including red, peach, turquoise, and blue. Notable pieces include a silver-tone bird brooch, several chunky gold-tone curb and link bracelets, and multi-strand beaded necklaces. Also present is a circular pendant featuring a decorative central scene surrounded by simulated pearls and a rectangular gold-tone pendant set with green stones. Some items feature enamelling or are set with faceted glass rhinestones and synthetic stones. No identifiable designer or maker’s marks were found upon inspection. A small white adhesive sticker bearing the digits 6182 is present on one item, and a small rectangular cardboard tag is attached to a green bangle.
