A Mid-Century Modern Teak Veneer Two-Piece Display Cabinet
Description
A two-piece display cabinet or wall unit in the Mid-Century Modern style, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970s. The unit is constructed with a teak veneer finish and consists of a glazed upper section resting upon a solid cupboard base. The upper section features a pair of large glass-fronted doors opening to an interior fitted with two adjustable glass shelves. The lower base unit contains a two-door cupboard. All doors are equipped with integrated, contoured wooden pull handles. The design is characteristic of the period and resembles the work of manufacturers such as G Plan or Rasmus, although no maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible. A small white adhesive label is present on one of the glass panels.
