A Pair of Edwardian Style Mahogany Three Tier Folding Cake Stands
Description
A pair of three-tier folding cake stands constructed from mahogany. The first stand features three circular tiers, each decorated with a central marquetry patera inlay and a fine inlaid stringing border to the edge. It is surmounted by a curved carry handle. The second stand comprises three plain circular tiers with slightly raised edges, topped with a decorative lobed carry handle. Both stands utilise an A-frame folding mechanism. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on either item.
