Description
This adjustable piano stool features a dark-stained hardwood frame, likely mahogany or walnut, supported by four tapered and splayed legs. The rectangular seat is upholstered in a red velvet-style fabric. The stool is equipped with a rising-top mechanism, operated by turned wooden adjustment knobs located at either end of the frame. A small white adhesive label with the handwritten characters 26/7b is present on the side rail, likely an inventory or lot number. No manufacturer’s stamps or marks are visible on the exterior. The design and construction are consistent with British furniture production from the mid-20th century.
