A Set of Paragon Fine Bone China Tea Wares in the Elegance Pattern
Description
A set of fine bone china tea wares produced by the Paragon China Company, decorated in the Elegance pattern. Each piece is constructed from white fine bone china featuring a peripheral border of maroon-toned stylised foliage. The rims, handles, and footed bases are finished with hand-applied gilding. The base of the pieces carries a printed manufacturer mark in brown and gold, featuring the Royal Coat of Arms and the statement By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen China Potters. The mark further includes the text Paragon, Fine Bone China, Made in England, Regd, with the pattern name Elegance in script and a small hand-painted gold reference mark.
