A 21-Piece Aynsley Moonlight Rose Pattern Bone China Tea Service
Description
This 21-piece tea service is manufactured from fine bone china by Aynsley China, England. The set is decorated in the Moonlight Rose pattern, featuring transfer-printed floral motifs of roses and foliage in shades of light blue and soft grey against a white ground. The pieces are finished with silver-coloured platinum gilding to the rims, scrolled handles, and pedestal feet. The service comprises six teacups with pedestal bases, six saucers, six tea or side plates, one open sugar bowl, one milk jug, and one large twin-handled cake plate. Each piece bears a green printed factory mark to the base featuring a crown above the word AYNSLEY and ENGLAND, with the pattern name Moonlight Rose written in cursive script.
