Description
This collection comprises ten pieces of white glazed earthenware or ironstone, each decorated with a matching transfer-printed floral pattern. The design features prominent blue roses and blossoms accented with green and brown foliage. The assortment includes four oval dishes, three of which have scalloped and ridged rims, two small circular saucers or plates, one small circular lidded pot, one circular lidded sugar bowl, and two dwarf candlestick holders. The sugar bowl bears a small white sticker marked 501. No maker marks are visible on the upper surfaces of the items, and the bases are not shown. This style of blue-on-white floral decoration is characteristic of mid-20th-century British mass-produced ceramics.
