Description
A George III style mahogany demilune card table, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The table features a D-shaped fold-over top with veneered surfaces, designed to open into a circular playing surface. The structure is supported by four square tapered legs. While no maker marks are visible, the form and construction are consistent with twentieth-century reproductions in the style of Baker Furniture. The piece is constructed with mahogany and mahogany veneers over a secondary wood frame.
