Description
This artwork is a colour etching and aquatint on paper by Louis Icart, titled Coursing II. The piece is executed in the Art Deco style and depicts a semi-nude woman with flowing red hair holding two Borzoi dogs on leashes. The upper left margin features the printed text Copyright 1929 by L. Icart Paris. A circular embossed windmill mark is visible in the lower-left corner, and the artist signature is present in pencil in the lower right margin. The print is housed in a cream-coloured window mat and a gilt-finished frame.
