A Framed and Autographed Stephen Joseph Theatre Poster for Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn, 2000
Description
A framed theatrical poster for a production of the play Bedroom Farce, written and directed by Alan Ayckbourn. The poster was produced for the Stephen Joseph Theatre (SJT) in Scarborough for performances running from 21-30 September and 31 October-11 November 2000. The central illustration features a surrealist image of three fish in a brass bed with blue patterned bedding. The poster includes a review quote from the Daily Telegraph and displays the box office telephone number alongside sponsor logos for Raflatac, Marks and Spencer, and Yorkshire Arts. The item is hand-signed by Alan Ayckbourn in pink ink across the central white section of the bed illustration. The signature is consistent with the artist’s known hand. The poster is housed in a silver-toned frame under glass.
