Description
A contemporary pine student or writing desk constructed with a honey-toned stained and varnished finish in a traditional rustic style. The desk features a raised gallery back with a shaped pediment decorated with an oval-carved detail. The gallery includes three small drawers to the left and a central open pigeonhole niche. The main rectangular wooden work surface is positioned above a central pull-out keyboard tray. To the right is a single pedestal containing one drawer over a cupboard with a field-panelled door. The unit is supported on six turned bun feet and is fitted with simple turned wooden knob handles to all drawers and the cupboard door.
