A Late 20th Century Pine Twin Pedestal Desk or Dressing Table
Description
A modern twin pedestal desk, also suitable for use as a dressing table, constructed from knotted pine with a light honey-toned finish. The rectangular solid pine top features visible wood grain and natural knots and does not contain a leather inset. The configuration consists of two pedestals, each containing four graduated drawers, providing a total of eight drawers for storage. Each drawer is fitted with a single turned wooden knob handle. The desk is supported by plinth bases with a simple shaped apron to the front. No maker’s marks or brand attributions are visible, though a small, illegible white rectangular sticker is present on the front edge of the desk top.
