A vintage Mettype Junior working toy typewriter manufactured by Mettoy in Great Britain. This mid-century collectible is constructed primarily from lithographed tin-plate with integrated plastic components. The aesthetic features a vibrant red frame contrasted by a green keyboard face and a blue carriage. Centrally located is a circular yellow index dial clearly labelled The Mettype Junior. The typewriter is accompanied by its original illustrated cardboard box, which identifies the item as a METTYPE JUNIOR WORKING TOY TYPEWRITER and confirms its British manufacture.
