A Mixed Collection of Decorative Ceramics and Metalware including a Meissen Style Lid and Turquoise Glazed Bowl all restoration items
Description
A miscellaneous lot of decorative objects and figurines of various origins and materials. The collection includes a large turquoise-glazed ceramic bowl with a scalloped white metal rim, exhibiting a weathered patina. Notable items include a hand-painted porcelain figurine of a seated female figure in a white gown, a white porcelain lid featuring a blue underglaze crossed swords mark in the Meissen style, and a pink glazed ceramic component. The lot further comprises a copper-toned vessel, a green-glazed pottery item, and various assorted ceramic fragments. The items display a range of techniques including hand-painting, moulded porcelain, and metalwork application. Dimensions of box approximately 40cm x 30cm x 25cm.
Condition report:
The collection is offered in mixed condition. The turquoise bowl shows heavy oxidation and wear to the metal rim and interior. Several items appear to be fragments or missing their corresponding parts. Surface abrasions, minor chips, and general wear are present throughout, consistent with loose storage and age.
