UK Mixed Pre-Decimal and International Coinage, Bronze and Cupro-Nickel
Description
A lot of coins consisting primarily of British pre-decimal currency. The assemblage contains a large quantity of bronze pennies and halfpennies. Obverse types include portraits of George VI and Elizabeth II. Reverse types include the Britannia seated type. The lot also includes various silver-coloured coins, likely cupro-nickel or other base metal alloys. This collection represents the final decades of the British pre-decimal system prior to decimalisation in 1971.

Condition report:
Mixed circulated condition. The collection displays a range of wear from heavy circulation to moderate detail. Notable features include dark natural toning, surface oxidation, and instances of verdigris. Some coins exhibit edge knocks and surface scratches consistent with bulk storage and handling.
