An M. J. Baker Figural Table Lamp in the Japanese Style with Beaded Fringe Shade
Description
A decorative table lamp featuring a figurine of a lady in traditional Japanese kimono, depicted carrying a basket of flora. The figure is set upon a circular, tiered wooden plinth featuring a gold-tone maker’s plaque for M. J. Baker. The light fitting comprises a curved brass-finished neck and a cylindrical brown fabric shade, embellished with a faceted bead fringe. Supplied with a tan-coloured flex and a UK three-pin plug. Dimensions: Height approximately 19 inches.
Condition report:
The lamp is offered in good overall condition. The electrical wiring is untested; we advise all electrical items are professionally tested before use. There is some minor surface wear and light marking to the lampshade.
