Italian Ceramic Art Deco Style Wall Mask, Woman and Borzoi
Description
A mid-century Italian glazed ceramic wall mask or plaque, model number 6427. The piece depicts a woman in profile with wavy blonde-red hair and a pale blue bow, positioned alongside a Borzoi or greyhound. The reverse features an indistinct impressed circular factory mark, likely indicating Italian origin, alongside the impressed model number. Height: 21 cm.
Condition report:
Significant chip and loss of material to the bottom right edge. General surface wear and minor discolouration to the unglazed reverse. A small retail sticker is adhered to the woman\'s face. The front-facing glazed surface is otherwise well-preserved with no visible crazing or repairs.
