Late 20th Century Tudor Revival Oak and Mahogany Finish Hanging Corner Cabinets, including Wood Brothers Old Charm
Description
A pair of 20th-century wall-mounted corner display cabinets of traditional design. The larger cabinet is constructed from oak with a light-to-medium finish, identified as being from the Old Charm range by Wood Brothers. It features a decorative shaped pediment with twin carved rosettes and a central finial, positioned above twin doors fitted with leaded diamond-pattern glass and ornamental brass-toned butterfly hinges. The interior contains fixed wooden shelving. The second, smaller cabinet is finished in a dark mahogany tone, featuring a single glazed door with a shaped internal wooden frame and two internal shelves. Both pieces are high-quality reproductions in the Tudor and Georgian styles, designed for wall mounting. Dimensions (H x W x D): Oak Cabinet approx. 66cm x 48cm x 25cm; Mahogany Finish Cabinet approx. 50cm x 35cm x 18cm.
Condition report:
Both items are in good structural condition. The finishes exhibit minor surface wear, light scuffing, and small indentations consistent with domestic use and age. Glazing is intact on both pieces. Hardware is original and functional. No signs of woodworm or significant structural damage.
