Various Makers, Mixed Toy Lot and Knitted Doll, Tinplate and Cloth, 29 cm
Description
Various makers including Corgi and Solo, this lot features a hand-made knitted doll of cloth and yarn construction with original integrated multi-coloured clothing and fixed painted eyes. The collection includes a large lithographed tinplate 1950s-style sedan, a tinplate spinning top, and a Corgi Heartbeat Land Rover. Also present are flocked plastic animals with synthetic fibre manes, a plastic Mickey Mouse figure, a blue plastic robot with card, and a Solo cigarette pack. Height 29 cm.
Condition report:
Knitted doll is in good condition with original clothing. The large tinplate sedan shows moderate surface scratches, play wear, and oxidation to the lithographed trim. Flocked figures show minor dust and light wear. Items are in as-found, play-worn condition with no professional repairs noted.
