Description
An Enfield Art Deco mantel clock featuring a stepped wooden case with mahogany veneer and a polished finish. The base of the case is decorated with a carved geometric border. The circular metal dial is framed by a chrome-toned bezel and displays stylized black Arabic numerals with two winding apertures and three hands. The dial is inscribed Enfield above the center arbor and Fillans and Sons Huddersfield below. The lower edge is marked Made in England. The case design incorporates architectural stepping typical of the Art Deco period.
