Description
A Rosenthal porcelain figurine of a reclining dachshund puppy designed by Fritz Heidenreich for the Kunstabteilung. The figure is modeled in a naturalistic pose with a glossy tan and brown glaze. The underside features an incised Heidenreich signature and a green printed Rosenthal maker mark with a crown and crossed lines, further marked Germany Kunstabteilung. A hand-applied numerical mark 5 is present on the base.
