Description
A collection of heraldic souvenir china, identified as crested ware and Goss china, dating from the early 20th century. The group comprises various miniature glazed white ceramic items in forms including jugs, teapots, vases, figurines, and architectural models. Each piece features polychrome transfer-printed coats of arms representing various British towns and municipalities, such as Blackpool, Brighton, Bournemouth, Cleethorpes, and Robin Hood’s Bay. Specific items include a miniature Blackpool Big Wheel, a Wakefield Town Hall commemorative piece, and a rectangular tray bearing the Royal Coat of Arms with the motto Dieu et mon Droit. Many pieces are accented with gilt rims. The red plastic display tray is not included in the lot.
