Antique English Tortoiseshell and Silver Strung Balloon Mantel Clock
Description
An English tortoiseshell and silver strung balloon mantel clock featuring a waisted case. The exterior is finished in tortoiseshell veneer with inlaid silver stringing. The circular white dial displays black Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes, set behind a polished metal bezel. The reverse contains a brass movement accessible through a hinged white metal cover. A small inventory label with the handwritten number 6182 is affixed to the front casing.
