A Pair of Antique or Vintage Hardwood Side Chairs
Description
A pair of antique or vintage side chairs constructed with dark-stained hardwood frames, likely mahogany or a similar species. The chairs feature upholstered drop-in seats, though the frames and styles differ. The first chair features a curved crest rail, stylized cabriole front legs terminating in ball feet, and a seat upholstered in green and dark striped fabric. A small inventory sticker marked 272 is adhered to the back rail of this chair. The second chair has a simpler, squarer frame with a shaped, carved wooden back splat and a seat upholstered in a red patterned textile, secured by visible metal tacks.
