Late Victorian Dark Hardwood Hanging Wall Shelf
Description
A single hanging wall shelf consistent with late 19th-century or Victorian decorative styling. The object is constructed of dark hardwood, likely walnut or mahogany, and features a dark stain finish. The shelf structure is tiered and includes a rounded front edge. The main storage area is divided into three vertical compartments by two internal partitions. Decorative elements include highly stylized scrolled side supports which feature relief carving executed with a stippled or hatched pattern.
