Royal Doulton Figurine The Toymaker HN2250
Description
A single glazed ceramic figurine manufactured by Royal Doulton, titled “The Toymaker” (HN2250). The piece depicts a seated, smiling, bald man, dressed in a green and teal shirt over a dark vest and brown trousers. He is actively working on a red object held in a bench vise with yellow detailing. The figurine is brightly hand-painted with a high-gloss glaze, characteristic of vintage Royal Doulton figures. The underside of the base contains printed marks including the title “The Toymaker,” the manufacturer’s crest (Doulton & Co. Limited), the copyright date 1938, and various registration numbers, including RD No. 898032.
