Lot 15:
Edwardian Dark Stained Oak Hall Stand and Two Drip Trays
Description
A period hall stand, likely dating to the Edwardian or late Victorian era, constructed from dark-stained oak or hardwood. The stand features four turned legs and scroll-cut side supports beneath the main surface. The top surface is designed for stick or umbrella storage, incorporating two rectangular openings flanking a raised central storage box. The box is fitted with a single decorative brass or metal handle designed as a grotesque mask. The back rail is decorative, featuring two circular holes and a central cutout. The lower shelf is designed to catch water runoff and holds two square metal drip trays. An inventory sticker bearing the number ‘7210’ is visible on the front edge of the central box. The collection consists of three separate items: the wooden stand and the two metal drip trays.
