A Collection of 12 Modern Decorative Ceramics and Porcelain Items
Description
A collection of 12 pieces of modern decorative ceramics and porcelain, comprising various forms and decorative styles. The collection includes a large circular platter featuring a transfer-printed design of apricots on the vine, bordered by a green ivy motif. This platter is signed Thee Ryman near the base of the fruit stem. A large ceramic punch or serving bowl is decorated internally and externally with a blue marine motif depicting sailboats and ships. Also present is a white pitcher or watering can-style creamer decorated with fruit and floral elements. A small glazed figurine of a Yorkshire Terrier dog is included. The grouping features a yellow relief-molded double dish, upon which rests a miniature brown molded creamer, a small orange and white striped conical vase, and a square ceramic box lid marked 6132 featuring a pink and purple Art Deco rose design. Completing the collection are a small globular vase decorated with fruit, a footed bowl decorated entirely in a dense multi-color chintz floral pattern, a light green glazed ceramic basket-form planter, and a second small brown creamer positioned behind the planter.
